Biography
Jacqueline Silas-Butler is the Executive Director of Project GRAD Akron, an organization that provides services and scholarships to students in the Akron Public Schools. She received her BA from The Ohio State University, her JD from the University of Akron, and has been an attorney since 1984. She has served as a Judicial Magistrate, an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, and an Adjunct Law Professor. She is the Board President for the Akron Roundtable, a member of Arlington Church of God, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Leadership Akron Alumni Association, and the Board of Directors for the United Way of Summit County. She is married to Lawrence Butler, Jr. and they have one son.
