Graduate Program in Textiles

In our Textiles graduate program, digital design and technology go hand-in-hand with traditional fiber art techniques, while pushing students to think conceptually, experimentally and across disciplines.

Students select course work in close consultation with their advisor. Program goals focus on guiding young artists from a mentor/student relationship into the world of the professionally active studio artist.  Students work closely with full-time faculty, providing the individual instruction deemed essential for a quality professional graduate education. The School of Art offers both the Masters of Art degree in Studio Art and the Masters of Fine Art degree in Textiles.
