This Spring, the School of Art Galleries will offer a variety of free exhibitions featuring past and present student work. From undergraduate students to alumni, these exhibitions showcase the exceptional talent of the School of Art community.
Spring Exhibitions in Full Bloom
Student Annual Exhibit
The School of Art Student Annual Exhibit showcases the talent from СƬƵ students across the university, regardless of major. Featuring a wide variety of mediums, this show will be on display at the Center for the Visual Arts (325 Terrace Drive) in the CVA/Crawford/Payto Galleries from March 7-26, 2025. There will be a reception on March 21, from 5-7 p.m. where winners will be announced.
M.F.A. Exhibitions
The M.F.A. Exhibits are part of the capstone of the studio art graduate program. Each student creates a body of work under a unique theme to present in their M.F.A. show and defend in their thesis. This year’s M.F.A. exhibitions feature an international cadre of twelve students across a variety of studio disciplines and will take place over two weeks. These exhibition takes place across campus in the CVA, Payto, Crawford and KSU Downtown galleries.

Week One
Week One of the M.F.A. Exhibition will feature artists Austin Peer, Chungho Lyu, Cashay Johnson, Danicko Rivera, Atoosa Fadaei and Brandon Hoida. This Exhibition takes place April 1-4, 2025, with an artist reception on April 4, from 5-7 p.m. in the Downtown Gallery, and 6-8 p.m. in the CVA/Payto/Crawford/AVRC Galleries.
Week Two
Week Two of the M.F.A. Exhibition will feature artists Kennan O’Toole, Caroline Perkison, Filomena Smola, Jade Carson, Alex Dolleschal and Oliver Ray. This Exhibition takes place April 8-11, 2025, with an artist reception on April 11, from 5-7 p.m. in the Downtown Gallery, and 6-8 p.m. in the CVA/Payto/Crawford/AVRC Galleries.
B.F.A. Senior Thesis Exhibition
The B.F.A. Senior Thesis Exhibition includes the thesis work of every graduating Bachelor of Fine Arts student in the School of Art. The exhibition will be on view in the Center for the Visual Arts from April 15-25, 2025 with a reception on April 25 from 5-7 p.m.
Tributary: Students and Kathleen Brown
Tributary: Students and Kathleen Brown explores part of the history and legacy of Jewelry, Metals and Enameling at СƬƵ. This exhibition will be on view in the Downtown Gallery (141 East Main Street, Kent, Ohio), April 18-May 31, 2025. There will be an opening reception on April 18, 5-7 p.m.
