Below you will find various resources to support your career exploration, interview preparation, job search and so much more. Job Search
Looking for an employment opportunity such as an internship or a post-graduation job takes time, organization, motivation, and skill. Understanding the basics of launching a job search and how to use Handshake will help you be more successful in your search efforts. Part of your job search also includes understanding your value and how to evaluation job offers – which are more than just the salary.
Resumes
Your resume is an essential document for any job application. You can present your skills in a way that "wows" your audience to help you land your dream job.
Cover Letters
Cover letters are the perfect and essential compliment to a resume. They allow you to elaborate on key areas of your resume that you think make you the best candidate. Not every aspect of your resume needs to be discussed on a cover letter, so be sure to tailor each cover letter to every job you apply to.
PREPARING TO INTERVIEW
The interview is the employer's opportunity to decide whether you are a fit for the position. Not all interviews are created equal, but you should expect to discuss why you are the right person to fill their vacancy. It is important that you prepare adequately beforehand to ensure you are ready for the interview.

Networking is the ability to connect and interact with others to develop professional relationships. Networking also includes you being able to articulate your career goals. Use these resources to prepare for successful networking experiences.
Employer Communication
While you're networking and job searching, it is important to keep in touch with employers. Sending a thank you note or a follow-up email after an interview or a conversation at a career event can work wonders on the relationship you've established with that person. Regardless of the situation, following up with a simple note is a sign of courtesy and respect.
