The College of Business Administration is dedicated to providing students and faculty withopportunities to enrich and expand their global experience. Our partnerships with universities around the world allow students to fulfill education abroad goals and gain significant insight into international business. In addition, the College's Global Management Center offers international business programming and study abroad education support.
As part of the goal to expand opportunities for students and faculty, we recently announced a partnership with FH Worms, University of Applied Sciences, located in Worms, Germany. This partnership will enable students to study abroad and perhaps intern while learning about international business and the German economy.
The College of Business Administration's Global Management Center helps to prepare students to be competitive in a global market. For example, MBA students have the opportunity to participate in the John Molson MBA International Case Competition in Montreal, Canada each year. Students learn presentation, team building and decision making skills throughout the fall semester as they prepare to compete in the spring.
The Global Management Center also strives to inform students, faculty and the public about business practices around the world. To this end, we launched the Global Management Speaker Series. Throughout the year we will bring speakers from around the globe to speak on international business topics. To launch the series, on April 8th, J. Ron Menning of Timken will share his company's experiences in China. Further, I am pleased to announce that Michael Mayo, Ph.D., director of the Global Management Center, in collaboration with U.S. Foreign and Commercial Services has created an International Speakers Bureau. This new addition to the Center will allow faculty and local business leaders to request international speakers on various business topics. These are but a few examples of the College's efforts to grow international business education opportunities and serve as a leader in international business. From Kent. The World.
