When do I schedule for classes? When is the add/drop deadline?

For the most current dates and deadlines, visit the Registrar Calendar page.

For spring and fall terms, students are permitted to register courses on a particular date based upon their number of earned, or completed, and in-progress credit hours. For summer term, registration opens for all students on the same date. Read below for information on how to identify these registration dates.

Flashline

To view your registration date in Flashline, navigate to the 鈥淐heck Registration Status鈥 screen located under the Student > Courses and Registration menu.  You will be asked to select a term.  On the following screen you will see your assigned registration date in red at the top of the screen.  You will be notified of any holds that might prevent registration and/or requirements you must complete before being allowed to register.  In the middle of the screen, you will also see a calculation of your number of earned plus in progress hours.  This screen is updated once the schedule for a particular term has become available to view.  If the registration date for a term is not yet available, please continue see below for more details on how to view this information on the University Registrar鈥檚 website.

If you want to look up all the class offerings for one class, the best tool to use is the Look up and Register for Courses Screen (Look under the following menu in Flashline: Student > Courses and Registration).

If you have the CRN (course registration number) for a class and you want to just add it to your schedule, open the Add or Drop a Course screen in Flashline under Student > Courses and Registration. You can enter the CRN into the boxes located at the bottom of the screen and click the 鈥淪ubmit Changes鈥 button to complete the registration process.
