Seven delegates from one of China’s top ten universities, Sichuan University in Chengdu, will be visiting from Oct. 5 to Oct. 17. The goal of the visit is to form a partnership agreement between the College of Communication and Information (CCI) and Sichuan University College of Literature and Journalism. The relationship between С»ÆƬÊÓƵ’s CCI and Sichuan University has been cultivated since May of 2013 when their dean signed a memorandum of understanding. In June of 2013, communication studies faculty members Dr. Rozell Duncan and Dr. Nichole Egbert taught at Sichuan University for International Education Week.
The delegates will be attending some classes within the College of Communication and Information, touring the May 4 memorial and touring TV2 in Franklin Hall and many other CCI-related features. The delegates include Sichuan University College of Literature and Journalism’s deputy dean, two academic directors and four students.
