The AMLCI Characterization Facility (AMLCICF) is an open-access microscopy and microanalysis center for soft matter and nanomaterials. The facility includes six major labs that host a series of instruments used to determine the microscopic structures and properties of bulk and surfaces of liquid crystals, soft, and biological materials. LCICF currently provides world-class training, collaboration, and service to 70+ research groups and 15+ industrial partners. LCICF also serves as a center for hands-on training and education on advanced analytical techniques. Users from academic institutions and industry are welcome to get their research project done with professional quality by themselves or by the LCICF staff.
