Serves in an active advisory capacity to help in creatively visualizing and implementing the agreed goals & objectives of the Design Innovation Initiative determined by the DI TEAM as a whole
Attends the monthly DI TEAM meetings (with a minimum goal of attending at least 3 per semester and one during the summer term)
Participates as an active member on at least one of the DI TASK FORCE teams to advance the mission of the initiative
Keeps the DI Initiative active in your daily activities and thoughts, with intention to considering how the actions/projects etc. that you are involved in through your respective role at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ can be conducted and/or perceived in connection with Design Innovation
Is recognized for their active role as a "DI TEAM" member by gaining first opportunities to teach and/or lead a course or co-curricular DI activities
Has prioritized opportunity to access and utilize the Design Innovation Hub facilities to support cross-disciplinary faculty/student projects
The Design Innovation Hub is an open-access collaborative maker and innovation accelerator environment at the center of the Kent Campus, to activate a community of inquisitive people and facilitate cross-disciplinary communication and problem-solving capacities.
Becoming a DI Collaborator provides you access to the Labs and Shops within the DI Hub. Memberships are free and open to С»ÆƬÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff starting Spring 2021.
Individual use of equipment in the DI Hub Labs and Shops will be charged for material usage and/or time.
