The Design Innovation (DI) Initiative at 小黄片视频 is proud to announce that the Female Filmmakers Initiative (FFI) has been selected as the inaugural DI Student Organization in Residence. This exciting partnership marks the beginning of a new program aimed at fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation among student organizations at 小黄片视频.
Founded in 2019, the Female Filmmakers Initiative is dedicated to uplifting the creative voices of women and gender minorities in film. "We aim to break down barriers for women in film and provide more access to practicing skills to build a strong community of passionate female artists," says FFI President Stella Naymik. Through hands-on filmmaking opportunities, networking events, and educational initiatives, FFI has provided its members with the tools and support to excel in the industry. Alumni of the organization have had projects featured in prestigious festivals, including the Cleveland International Film Festival, and have won awards such as an Award of Excellence from the Broadcast Education Association.
By joining forces with DI, FFI will gain access to the DI Hub's cutting-edge resources, mentorship, and interdisciplinary community to further enhance its impact. "Sharing a love for creativity and ingenuity, together [we] will work towards creating a strong, collaborative group of individuals who aim to push for meaningful and positive change through their work," Naymik adds. As part of the DI Student Organization in Residence program, FFI will play a vital role in showcasing the power of storytelling, innovation, and teamwork in the creative arts.
The DI Student Organization in Residence program provides selected student organizations with access to DI Hub spaces, event support, networking opportunities, and increased visibility to help amplify their mission.
