Marianne Martens, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, presented "The Language of Betrayal: Ownership, Power and Control of J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore Website" at the Society for the History of Authorship Reading and Publishing (SHARP) conference in Paris in July 2016. The panel also included a paper by Alexis Weedon, head of Journalism and Communications and UNESCO Chair holder at the University of Bedfordshire, and editor of ConvergenceThe Journal of Research into New Media Technologies.
