Nicole A. Muckridge
Biography
Dr. Nicole Muckridge is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ, where she has been a full-time faculty member at the Trumbull campus since 2010. She teaches both developmental and college-level mathematics courses, including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and quantitative reasoning. In addition to teaching, Dr. Muckridge serves on several campus and department committees supporting both student and institutional success. Dr. Muckridge has presented at state and national conferences in both mathematics and mathematics education. Her current research interests include adult learners’ understanding of fractions and proportional reasoning as well as the effectiveness of curricular changes in developmental mathematics education.
