- Gain the fundamental knowledge necessary to enter the Electrical/Electronic Engineering employment fields.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
The Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of the Associate of Applied Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology Program describe the expected objectives of graduates, during the first few years after graduation. Our graduates will:
- Apply engineering technology knowledge and design skills to solve technical problems within the specialized field of Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology.
- Utilize effective communication, team and project management skills to work productively and contribute to their professions.
- Value personal attitudes that help one become a contributing member to society, including: initiative, responsibility, a commitment to professional ethics, and the desire to continue to learn and grow professionally
Accreditation
The Associate of Applied Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, , under the General Criteria and the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology Program Criteria.
ABET also requires an established set of outcomes for each of its programs that describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time they graduate. Graduates of our Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology program will be able to:
- Apply knowledge, techniques and skills of mathematics, science and modern engineering tools to solve electrical and electronic engineering technology problems that require limited application of principles but extensive practical knowledge.
- Ability to use modern engineering tools and techniques to design solutions for well- defined electrical electronic engineering technology problems and assist with design of systems, components or processes.
- Demonstrate effective oral, graphic and written communication in both technical and non-technical environments, and proficiently use technical reference material.
- Conduct standard tests, measurements, and critically analyze and interpret data particularly in the electrical and electronic engineering technology field
- Function effectively as a member of a technical team.
- Understand and commit to address professional engineering and ethical responsibilities, including respect for diversity.
