Kiersten F. Latham, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, has been named to the board of the International Committee on Training of Personnel (ICTOP) of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). ICTOP addresses the professional development of museums and heritage and the educational preparation of professionals working around the world.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed a new trustee to the С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees. Kasich named Robin Kilbride of Wadsworth, Ohio, to a nine-year term as a trustee. Kilbride’s appointment began April 18, 2016, and ends May 16, 2024.

С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Director of Athletics Joel Nielsen has announced the hiring of Todd Starkey as the Golden Flashes' head women's basketball coach. Starkey takes over as the sixth head coach in the history of С»ÆƬÊÓƵ's women's basketball after spending the last two seasons as an assistant at Indiana University.
