Civic Engagement
Liberation Learners follow up their Summer Seminar by completing a year-long civic engagement project. Students identify a problem in their communities, understand the scope of the problem, and collaborate with appropriate leaders to implement steps to address it.

Current Projects
2024-25 Liberation Learners at Kent are currently at work on two projects: bullying in the schools and test anxiety among high school students. Liberation Learners plan to first generate surveys of their peers to understand the problem’s scope. They then plan on meeting with school leaders to spread awareness and implement strategies for improvement.
