Supervisory Foundations is a sequential, 2-part program that will help supervisors successfully navigate market and university expectations for the supervisory role. The session clarifies the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful supervisor in 2024 and beyond. Participants will:
1) identify critical functions and skills needed for 2024 supervisors
2) clarify the role, responsibilities, and accountabilities they now have
3) complete a SWOT analysis for the organization, their team, and themselves

College of Arts & Sciences Tailgate Party
Just outside of Dix Stadium, near the 鈥渂ouncy house鈥, stop by our A&S tent for food, fun games, music and prizes before the game. We鈥檙e providing a complimentary meal and the menu is hamburgers, hot dogs, vegan dogs, baked beans, bag of chips and individual package of oreos, plus pop and water available. Alcohol is available for purchase.

Planetarium Show
Embark on your own stargazing adventure and join us underneath our awe-inspiring 40-foot dome. When the lights go down, a Spitz Projector will emerge from the center of the classroom, which projects the night sky, the moon and even the sun onto the dome.
Student guides will take guests on a captivating journey through space that explores the constellations and how to navigate the night sky.
Seating is limited to the first 100 people to check-in for the show.
Artist Talk/Reception: "Artistic Jungle" Exhibition
The Department of Africana Studies and the Center of Pan-African Culture are proud to present this extraordinary art exhibition featuring the works of two distinguished artists, Nana Kwesi Agyare and Georgio Sabino, III. The exhibit runs through October 30 and there will be an artist talk/reception on Sept. 27 from 6-7pm.
LinkedUP! Homecoming Event
Join the Office of Diversity Outreach and Development and the LGBTQ+ Center for a roundtable discussion on navigating intersecting identities within professional settings with 2024 EHHS Hall of Fame inductee Odell Morgan, 鈥14. Odell is a licensed psychotherapist and LGBTQ+ services coordinator at Johns Hopkins University. This roundtable provides 小黄片视频 students and alumni with an opportunity to learn how to define their abilities through engagement and collaboration.
Talk & Open House: "Military Mapping Maidens of WWII" Exhibit
Join us for an Open House from 10-11:30 am to view the Military Mapping Maidens exhibit and meet distinguished alumni Bea McPherson, '43. Dr. Judith Tyner, Professor Emerita at California State University Long Beach, and the McPherson Family will give a talk on the contributions and legacy of these mapmakers from 1-2:30 pm in the Library's Garden Room.
