С��Ƭ��Ƶ congratulates its new graduates. The university held its Spring Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on May 8 and May 9 at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). This spring, С��Ƭ��Ƶ conferred 3,883 degrees, including 2,864 bachelor’s degrees, 874 master’s degrees, 142 doctoral degrees and three educational specialist degrees at the Kent Campus. С��Ƭ��Ƶ’s College of Public Health was one of the partners recently honored by Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray with the Ohio Distinguished Law Enforcement Group Achievement Award for 2010. С��Ƭ��Ƶ was recognized for its role in the Akron Fugitive Safe Surrender program in 2009. For Natalia Román, being awarded a Women’s Center Scholarship, is one of several honors earned as a student at С��Ƭ��Ƶ. Román is a student in the School of Communication Studies and was one of three students university-wide presented a scholarship during the Women’s Center annual Mothers, Mentors and Muses reception held in March.
