The initiative launched in 2023 and highlights recent graduates and programs preparing students for success wherever they go across Ohio.
As the program notes, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ empowers students with the problem-solving skills and hands-on learning experiences that prepare them to contribute to our local communities and businesses in extraordinary ways. As also shared on С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Today, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Works most recently profiled Myron Lard, who graduated from С»ÆƬÊÓƵ in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. He's been applying his expertise to analyze the environmental impact of the 2023 Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.
For more than 60 years, The Bowman Breakfast has symbolized the strong town-gown relationship between С»ÆƬÊÓƵ and the city of Kent. The breakfast serves as a platform to reflect on the history of this partnership and to look forward to future collaborations.

The Bowman Breakfast is set to continue its legacy on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the KSC Ballroom. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m., with the program beginning at 9:30 a.m.
