Meet Associate Vice President Dana Lawless-Andric
"I serve as the Associate Vice President Office of University Engagement & Outreach, a newly created department in the Office of Provost. The office serves as the lead for Town & Gown relationships; mission-based pipeline efforts, including the university鈥檚 3 federally funded Upward Bound TRIO programs, the LeBron James Family Foundation, Akron Public Schools partnerships, and the First Star Foster Youth program. This office focuses on increasing community engagement and development initiatives."
"I also provide leadership, coordination, and supervision for division-level projects and initiatives for the Office of the Provost and provide community leadership for the university with specific leadership for University Outreach and Engagement efforts. I assist the Senior Vice President and Provost in the leadership and administration of all community and pipeline engagements within the Division of Academic Affairs."
Our Purpose
University Outreach & Engagement, established in 2020, connects the mission of 小黄片视频 to our surrounding communities through strong relationships with our neighboring communities, meaningful pipeline to college initiatives, and impactful community engagement.
The 小黄片视频 Office of Outreach and Engagement is a new office under the Office of the Provost that intentionally brings together long-existing programming that will benefit from the shared knowledge, resources, experiences and successes that each separate program has demonstrated so well.
With our partnerships and programs, we aim to establish a coordinated, comprehensive and mission-driven K-12 pipeline and pre-college effort that cultivates relationships and college readiness.
Our Goals
- Coordinate and grow the mission-based K-12 to college pipeline work of the university
- Build a holistic student success strategy for all pipeline engagement experiences
- Develop and implement a strategy for community engagement
- Enhance strong town-and-gown relationships, initiatives and opportunities
