Approximately 5.4 million students with dependent children are enrolled in postsecondary education. Those numbers are only expected to rise in the near future, as a too-often overlooked and underserved population increases. Ashtabula sociology associate professor Jessica Leveto, Ph.D., is focusing her research on the needs of those students as part of a fellowship with the Center for Teaching and Learning that culminates with a faculty workshop on April 21.

Olivia Meyer, junior Honors College fashion merchandising student, is designing her own success at С��Ƭ��Ƶ and abroad. “I think what I'm most excited for is the unknown,” she muses.

С��Ƭ��Ƶ has a longstanding tradition of excellence in global education. In celebration of 50 years of our study abroad program in Florence, Italy, the university has created the С��Ƭ��Ƶ Global Education Endowment, with a goal to be the largest endowment in university history.

С��Ƭ��Ƶ will receive $960,000 in new scholarships through the Choose Ohio First program that supports students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
