Vision
The Office of Strategy Management (OSM) strives to create a strategic culture and a coordinated framework for the design, planning, coordination and implementation of university strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Mission
The Office of Strategy Management (OSM) supports the university community by providing strategic vision and leadership for the successful implementation of university strategic plans and initiatives to support the mission, vision and priorities of the university.
This past summer, the Office of Strategy Management (OSM) was established to provide leadership and support in the areas of strategic planning, project management, and organizational assessment. This support is provided through a centralized team working on the coordination of and development of key processes for alignment of initiatives and resources.
The Route to Retention—Multi-Year Retention Action Plan was developed out of our shared university commitment to Students First. Through this plan and the many other efforts of colleges, divisions and departments, the Retention Task Force (RTF) will continue to support our first-year Kent campus students return for their second year. The plan serves as a mechanism for aligning resources to implement innovative efforts to achieve our goal of an 85% retention rate.
The objective of the SEM plan was to develop an enrollment management culture across all eight campuses with С»ÆƬÊÓƵ becoming a national leader in generating the highest level of student access and completion. Through an iterative process we continue to update and revise initiatives and strategies as they are elevated and completed.
