The celebration, Sept. 19-21, will be packed with panel discussions, workshops and poetry readings, culminating in a gala dinner on Sept. 21.

For the past month, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the Kent Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.  

Bright sunshine, verdant green spaces and colorful flowers in bloom set the scene for summertime on the Kent Campus. 

This summer, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ's College of Nursing welcomed high school students participating in the University Hospitals Future Nurse Academy program to campus for a tour and hands-on practice in our simulation labs. 

The white coat at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ’s College of Podiatric Medicine’s White Coat Ceremony is presented as a reminder of the professionalism required by students, in their studies at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ and later as they become podiatric physicians.

When U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited С»ÆƬÊÓƵ this summer, he and U.S. Representative (and С»ÆƬÊÓƵ alumna) Emilia Sykes toured the College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the May 4 Visitors Center. 

Each August, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ welcomes alumni and their canine companions to campus for one of the most anticipated events of the year, the "Dog Days of Summer." 

After spending time on an athletics service trip to Rwanda in January, recent С»ÆƬÊÓƵ graduate and women’s soccer team member Callie Jean Cunningham felt compelled to act. 

The Earth Day celebration at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ at Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center included a guided, woodland hike around the campus. 

On the opening day of this year's Ohio State Fair, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ treated fairgoers to experience hands-on healthcare and interact with the technology of space exploration.
