The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Golden Flashes family was marking milestones and making memories at Homecoming 2022, held Saturday, Oct. 1. С»ÆƬÊÓƵ alumni, students, parents, employees and community members donned their blue-and-gold gear and reunited for one of the university’s long-standing traditions.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted recently issued a joint proclamation recognizing the impact that employee-owned companies have on Ohio’s economy as well as the work of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) based at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ, which requested the proclamation. The OEOC has served as a nonprofit outreach center providing support, resources and assistance to businesses since 1987.

С»ÆƬÊÓƵ's Golden Flashes set records and extended their at-home winning streak to 11 games at Saturday's Homecoming game.

The Kent Student Center is approaching a major milestone, its 50th anniversary, having opened in January 1973 as the largest student union east of the Mississippi River and the sixth largest in the nation. 

Fashion students from С»ÆƬÊÓƵ and IFA Paris collaborated to present their first runway show during New York Fashion Week 2022.

Sponsored by the С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university’s highest alumni honors. Recipients are selected based on their exceptional professional and civic contributions and for their outstanding support of the university. The 2022 Alumni Award recipients include six alumni and one student.
