"This experience has profoundly impacted me on multiple levels. Personally, it broadened my perspective on global health issues, reinforcing the importance of looking beyond my local context in Ashtabula County, Ohio. Academically, it enriched my understanding of international public health, particularly in areas like nutrition and health policy. Professionally, the immersion strengthened my commitment to working in global health, inspiring me to incorporate global best practices into my community health initiatives. The insights gained from interacting with international organizations have equipped me with new strategies to address public health challenges, both locally and globally. This experience has also ignited a deeper desire to work with organizations like UNICEF or NPOs, where I can contribute to global nutrition programs and public health initiatives."
