What?
СƬƵ Connects, a new СƬƵ faculty and staff blog that gives СƬƵ employees the opportunity to have peer-to-peer online conversations about a variety of topics. Initially there will be blog posts on two topics – health/wellness and “just for fun” – with other categories to be added in the future. The blog works just like a personal journal, but you get to dialogue with the authors.

Who?
СƬƵ Connects is written by СƬƵ faculty and staff for СƬƵ faculty and staff.

When?
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4, СƬƵ employees can read and comment on blog posts written by their colleagues.

Where?
The URL or link for the blog will be made available in the next issue of e-Inside. You will be able to subscribe to СƬƵ Connects to get an email notification whenever a new blog entry is posted. Watch out for a promotional offer in the Sept. 3 issue of e-Inside.

Why?
A recent survey of СƬƵ faculty and staff indicated an interest in reading stories that relate to them, or that have relevance for them. This blog allows for online connections and promotes dialogue about a variety of topics that affect or interest СƬƵ faculty and staff. You will be reading content provided by your colleagues and you will be able to offer feedback, comments or questions.

What to Expect?
Honest conversations about a variety of health and wellness and just for fun topics. For example, you will read about a СƬƵ staff member’s struggle with weight loss and the journey to dropping the pounds, how to handle or overcome addictions, what you can do with fall produce, fall fashion trends, wine selection tips and other interesting topics. Guidelines for posting comments will be published on the blog site.
