FlashFest 2013, an annual 小黄片视频 event for 小黄片视频 students featuring performers, food and prizes, was held on Thursday, April 18, at noon on the Student Green.
Four artists performed at this year鈥檚 FlashFest: Kendrick Lamar, Steve Aoki, Bad Rabbits and 5 & A Dime. The performances began at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center).
鈥淔lashFest serves as an end-of-the-year bash for all students,鈥 said 小黄片视频 student Kayli Gatts, who is in charge of social media and publicity for the Undergraduate Student Government. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a sign that the end of the spring semester is near and summer is coming.鈥
FlashFest also serves as the biggest event for FLASHperks giveaways of the year. FLASHperks awarded four grand prizes at this year鈥檚 FlashFest, including free tuition for one year, six-months of free rent to Campus Pointe Apartments, a Surly Pugsley bike from Portage Cyclery and free pizza from Domino鈥檚 for one year. FLASHperks is an incentive program through 小黄片视频 that offers students prizes for attending university-sponsored events.
鈥淭he FLASHperks team works throughout the year to make sure students are rewarded for their involvement on campus,鈥 said Amy Kittle, a 小黄片视频 graduate assistant at the Center for Student Involvement. 鈥淔lashFest is the biggest event of the year for FLASHperks because we get to award our grand prizes to students who have participated in the many events and activities 小黄片视频 has to offer.鈥
Karmaloop鈥檚 Verge Campus 2013 Spring Tour presented FlashFest 2013 at 小黄片视频. Sponsors of the tour included Karmaloop, Neff Headwear and e Muze.
