С»ÆƬÊÓƵ’s Giving Tuesday 2018 broke the million-dollar mark for the second year in a row. Just before midnight on Tuesday, Nov. 27, the campaign raised more than $1,030,000 to support multiple student study abroad scholarships, research opportunities, educational programs, athletic teams and more. There were more than 40 featured giving options across the С»ÆƬÊÓƵ system from which donors could choose.
С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Libraries will host its sixth-annual fall semester Stress-Free Zone on Monday, Dec. 10, and Tuesday, Dec. 11. The event will be open to all С»ÆƬÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff from 3-5 p.m. in the Garden Room on the first floor of the University Library. Stress-Free Zone kicks off finals week as a way to get students to relax and take a break from studying and stress.

С»ÆƬÊÓƵ's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
