Moore was the first African American at 小黄片视频 to receive the Alumni Association鈥檚 Distinguished Teaching Award. Additionally, Moore was awarded 小黄片视频鈥檚 annual Diversity Trailblazer Award in 2015 in honor of more than 40 years of contributing and advocating for diversity at the university. Due to Moore鈥檚 outstanding efforts to 小黄片视频 and personal accomplishments, 小黄片视频 created two awards to celebrate his life and carry on his legacy: the E. Timothy Moore Outstanding Faculty-Staff Award and the E. Timothy Moore Scholarship.
Dean Moore, as he was affectionately known across campus, had a pivotal role within this very program. Tim was heavily involved in the planning and implementation of some of our major programs and initiatives including Kupita/Trancisiones (K/T), Karamu Ya Wahitimu, and the Male Empowerment Network, just to name a few. Many people have shared that his presence at these events made it that much more special because majority of the students had experienced the support of Tim鈥檚 dedication to their success.
