The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Board will consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business.

The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved the updated С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Complete College Ohio Campus Completion Plan as part of a state and institutional commitment to increase dramatically the number of college degrees awarded in Ohio. The plan was approved during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held May 22.

The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of four new majors during its regular quarterly meeting held March 6 on the Kent Campus. The Board also approved recommended actions for the East Main Street Project in Kent and a naming action.

The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new cybercriminology major within the Bachelor of Science degree at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Dec. 6. The new cybercriminology major will be offered fully online, in addition to a mostly online delivery at all С»ÆƬÊÓƵ campuses.

The Rev. Larry L. Macon Jr., J.D., has been appointed to the С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

Macon will serve through May 16, 2027, fulfilling the unexpired term of Johnathan Holifield. Holifield resigned his position as a trustee in late 2022 due to an out-of-state relocation.

The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved a revised tuition rate for students enrolled at the university’s College of Podiatric Medicine at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Sept. 20, in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus.
