Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, С»ÆƬÊÓƵ has landed on it. С»ÆƬÊÓƵ is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.

The Akron Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron. С»ÆƬÊÓƵ’s LGBTQ+ Center will be sponsoring a free shuttle that will allow new and returning С»ÆƬÊÓƵ students to experience the event – some of them for the very first time.
